The Apple Card is set to launch in the United States sometime in the summer, and now it sounds like the physical credit card is heading to Canada in the near future 2019.

According to a report from The Star, Apple has filed the necessary paperwork in Canada to prepare the region for the launch of the Apple Card, and also Apple Pay Cash as well. The report states that Apple has filed applications to trademark brand names for both services. The paperwork was filed with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) for the Apple Card on July 15.
Nothing is confirmed just yet. Rumors have also suggested Apple is planning on launching the Apple Card in Europe and Hong Kong in the near future.
As it stands right now, Apple has not nailed down a launch date for the Apple Card just yet. However, with iOS 13 expected to launch in the near future, it’s believed that the credit card will launch along with the software update very soon.
